Hello followers, my reading group and I have just finished a discussion on the theme of "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time" and some some disagreements and some agreements. We all agreed on the general theme of the book which is that society isn't capable of properly interacting with people with disabilities. This shows because of all the people that Christopher interacts with and the majority of them don't understand what he is doing and yell at him. Though the gruop agreed on that, we disagreed about a secondary theme of the book that is curiosity causes large problems. I disagreed with this because I believe that wether Christopher disobeyed his father and investigated Wellington's death or not, this whole situation with his parents would've still happened. Others said that the whole problem started because of Christopher who tried to figure out who killed the dog. I can see it both ways, I just think that my side is correct.

Hello followers, I have recently finished the book I've been telling you about called "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time". This book was an excellent book that deserves its many awards, such as the whitbread award. This book is one of the few that I have read that has a satisfying ending. I will not tell you of the ending of the story because i want you guys to read the book as well but I feel you won't if you know how it ends. So yes, I would definitively recommend this book because it is very interesting and a joy to read. Here's what it looks like so you can know what to look for at the libraby/book store:

 There you go! Peace guys!

Hello followers, I've continued to read "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time" and it's gotten more interesting to me. Christopher has left his father's house and is on his way to his mother's flat. He's reached the the train station and has made it to his destination despite many obstacles and is now figuring out how to get to his mother's flat. This is where I am in the book and I have stopped to tell you more about Christopher's journey and what I think about it. The author does a very good job of simulating the writing of an autistic child which is good because I think that without accuracy, the book would be much less interesting and you would be focusing more on the inaccuracies then the story. This book really shows that society is not very good with handling people with disabilities by showing how people act with Christopher. Christopher doesn't like interacting with strangers but he has to in able to reach his mother's flat. When he does interact with others, they swear at him and yell at him because they're too impatient. This doesn't bother Christopher but I still don't think that it's right.
